PORT JERVIS, N.Y. – The Port Jervis Police Department paid homage to its K9 officer Roan as part of National Dog Week.
National Dog Week has been held every year on the last full week of September since 1928. The purpose is to honor all the ways dogs served humans and to promote responsible dog ownership.
