Police Seize Cocaine, Oxycodone Tablets From Port Jervis Home

PORT JERVIS, N.Y. – Two Port Jervis residents are facing felony drug charges after police recently recovered cocaine and oxycodone tablets from a home on Front Street, according to the Port Jervis Police Department.

Detectives arrested Joseph Geczi, 27, and Samantha Macconnell, 24, after a raid conducted by the Port Jervis Police Department and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group turned up 4 grams of cocaine, 26 oxycodone tablets, an undisclosed amount of money and packaging materials, police said. 

Geczi and Macconnell were charged with possession with intent to sell, possession of one-eighth an ounce or more of a narcotic drug and criminal use of drug paraphernalia. Geczi was also charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, police said. 

Geczi and Macconnell were arraigned in Port Jervis City Court. Both were remanded to the custody of the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on the following bail amounts: Geczi - $10,000 cash or, $30,000 bond alternative; Macconnell - $5,000 cash or $15,000 bond alternative.
