Metro-North To Use Buses Along Port Jervis Line Due To Construction

ORANGE COUNTY, N.Y. – Improvements along the Port Jervis line will mean substituting trains for buses during the off-peak train schedule starting Sept. 11.

Buses will be used between Port Jervis and Harriman for several weeks as crews complete rock slope remediation and infrastructure improvements. 

Inbound (to Hoboken), all trains starting with the 9:26 a.m. from Port Jervis and ending with the 3:19 p.m. from Middletown will be bused to Harriman.

Outbound (to Port Jervis), all trains starting with the 9:35 a.m. from Harriman and ending with the 3:48 p.m. from Harriman will be bused to Port Jervis.

Buses will follow the usual off peak train schedules.
