Metro-North Announces Labor Day Service On West Of Hudson Lines

Looking to take the train over Labor Day Weekend? Metro-North will be operating both the Port Jervis and Pascack Valley lines on a holiday schedule from starting on Friday Sept.1 through Monday, Sept. 4.

On Friday, Sept. 1, the Port Jervis line will feature early getaway trains. The regularly scheduled departure from Hoboken at 2:41 p.m., stopping at Secaucus Junction, and all stops between Suffern and Middletown/Town of Wallkill, will be extended to stop at Otisville and Port Jervis. To accommodate this service, the 6:15 p.m. departure from Hoboken to Port Jervis will not operate.

Regular weekend schedules will be in effect on Saturday and Sunday. 

On Monday, Sept. 4, a weekend schedule will be in effect on the Port Jervis and Pascack Valley Lines. An extra afternoon inbound train will depart Port Jervis at 4:09 p.m., making all stops through Suffern, then run express to Secaucus Junction and Hoboken. Customers wishing to travel to Penn Station-NY should transfer at Secaucus Junction.
