Galleria Mall Shooting Suspect Surrenders To Authorities

WALLKILL, N.Y.  – A man who is a suspect in the shooting at the Galleria at Crystal run on Sunday turned himself into police on Tuesday night, according to multiple reports.

The suspect, who has not yet been identified, surrendered to Monticello Police before being taken to authorities in Wallkill, WABC News reported. 

Authorities had released photos and video footage of the suspect entering the mall with a woman and small child earlier on Tuesday. Officials believe the man in the video then fired a single shot into the ground in front of American Eagle, injuring a mother and child. 

Wallkill authorities have said they will hold a news conference later on Wednesday.
