Student Sexually Assaulted At Gunpoint At Her Yale University Residence, Police Say A Yale University student was sexually assaulted after waking up to find an unknown man pointing a gun at her. The incident took place around 2 a.m., Tuesday, May 9, on the 300 block of Elm Street in New Haven. Yale Police Chief Anthony Campbell said a graduate student was asleep in her residence when she awoke to an unknown male pointing a gun at her.  The man sexually assaulted her and fled the residence, the chief said. Hudson Valley Man Killed In Single-Vehicle Crash In Connecticut A New York man was killed after losing control of his vehicle and slamming into a metal guardrail in Connecticut. The victim, Putnam County resident Gabriel Ramos, age 34, of Carmel, was traveling northbound on I-91in North Haven around 10 p.m., Wednesday, June 23, when the crash happened, said the Connecticut State Police. According to police, lost control of his 2005 Kawasaki motorcycle and hit a metal beam guardrail, and was thrown from the bike.
