Winner Winner: $34K Top-Prize Lottery Ticket Sold In Region One lucky lottery player is likely counting their blessings after purchasing a top-prize winning ticket worth over $34,000 in Westchester.  The top-prize-winning Take 5 ticket was sold in West Harrison for the evening drawing on Monday, June 26, New York Lottery officials announced.  The ticket was bought at the Prescription Plus At Silver Lake Pharmacy located at 23 Taylor Sq., and was worth $34,002.  Lottery officials said the winner has up to a year to claim their prize.

The White Plains Avenue Bridge above I-287 in West Harrison was officially dedicated in the name of Air Force veteran Joseph Lemm, a Westchester native who was a longtime member of the NYPD who died in 2015 while serving the country in Afghanistan.
