2 People Injured During Kingston Crash, Police Say Two people were injured during a two-car crash in the Hudson Valley. The collision took place in Ulster County in Kingston around 6 p.m., Tuesday, Sept. 5 on Route 28. According to Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police, an investigation revealed that a 2012 Toyota, driven by Steven Beckerman of Woodstock, was traveling west in the right lane.   A 2006 Volkswagen, driven by Steven Kapushy of Boiceville, was also traveling west in the right land on Route 28. Passing Driver Causes Hit-Run Crash In Region, Police Say A 24-year-old man has been arrested after causing a hit-and-run crash in the region that injured another person, authorities said. Troopers in Greene County were called at around 6:45 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, with reports of a two-vehicle crash in the town of Cairo, on County Route 67 near Gayhead-Earlton Road, according to State Police. Investigators determined that a Kia was heading northwest on County Route 67 when a Volkswagen traveling in the same direction attempted to pass.
