Applicants will also have to give authorities at least four character references and provide a list of current an…

As public outrage grows over the delayed police response to the mass shooting at a Texas elementary school, many are questioning whether they can rely on law enforcement should they find themselves in a similar disaster. That concern is sure to increase following a bombshell report from The New York Times Thursday, June 9, that heavily armed police officers delayed confronting the 18-year-old gunman in Uvalde, Texas for over an hour - even though supervisors knew wounded students were trapped - out of concern for officer safety. Breaking News: Heavily armed Uvalde officers waited an hou…

New York Law Limiting Carrying Guns In Public Questioned By US Supreme Court Justices
The US Supreme Court could strike down a New York weapons law that requires firearm owners to show a specific need to get a permit to carry a gun outside the home. This week, the court heard arguments over a dispute about whether New York’s law violates the Second Amendment right to “keep and bear arms” in public and the line of questioning by some justices indicated some skepticism about the law. The petitioners in the case are Robert Nash, Brandon Koch, and the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association, who are being represented by former solicitor general Paul Clement. Both Nash and…
