Lane Closures Scheduled For I-84, Taconic Parkway
State officials issued an alert about planned single-lane closures on the Taconic State Parkway and I-84 in the Hudson Valley. The New York State Department of Transportation said Orange, Dutchess, and Putnam County motorists should expect one lane to close on I-84 and the Taconic State Parkway due to bridge maintenance. New Traffic Pattern To Start On Busy Roadway In Region
There will be a new traffic pattern on a busy Hudson Valley roadway that could potentially cause delays for several months as crews get set to begin construction work in the region. The New York State Department of Transportation (NYSDOT) issued an alert advising motorists that there will be a new traffic pattern expected along US Route 9W in the Town of Highlands in Orange County. Former Restaurant Owner In Ulster Accused Of Raping Minor
A former restaurateur who owned a pair eateries in the Hudson Valley is facing charges for allegedly raping a minor. An Ulster County grand jury charged Robert Bruno, 58, of Newburgh, in a seven-count indictment for allegedly repeatedly sexually abusing at least one minor, the DA’s Office announced. It is unclear how many victims he had. Specifically, Bruno is charged with three counts of second-degree rape, and two counts each of third-degree rape and second-degree criminal sexual act.
