Update: Woman, 30, ID'd As Victim In Fatal Wrong-Way I-84 Collision In Region A 30-year-old woman has been identified as the victim of a wrong-way driver fatal crash on I-84 in the Hudson Valley. Community Rallies For Family Of Toddler, Grandmother Killed In Area The community is rallying to support the family of a 3-year-old boy and his grandmother killed in a Hudson Valley crash. The accident took place in Dutchess County in the town of Poughkeepsie around 1 p.m., Monday, April 11. The incident occurred on Stanley Street at the intersection with Mary Avenue when a 2019 Royal Carting garbage truck operated by a 41-year-old man, hit the two in the roadway, said Lt. One Killed In Crash Involving School Bus, Patrol Vehicle In Area One person was killed during a crash in the Hudson Valley between a New York State Police patrol vehicle and a school bus. The crash took place around 3:15 p.m., Tuesday, March 8 in Dutchess County on Route 55 and South Cross Road in LaGrange. It involved the patrol vehicle and an Arlington Central School District minibus with two adult students, the driver and an aide onboard, said Trooper AJ Hicks. Man Walking On Route 9W In Ulster Struck, Killed By Pickup Truck An investigation is underway after a man was struck and killed by a pickup truck on a busy area roadway. It happened on Saturday, July 11 in Ulster County at about 3:45 a.m. on Route 9W and North Riverside Road in the town of Lloyd. An investigation revealed that Orange County resident Leon P. ID Released For Man Struck, Killed By Vehicle On Palisades Parkway The identity has been released of a man found dead on the Palisades Interstate Parkway. State Police and the Rockland Sheriff's Office responded on Friday, July 3 at approximately 11:15 p.m. to a report of a body found in the southbound lanes of the parkway near exit 12 in the town of Pomona.  An investigation revealed that Genoval Gonzalez Quintana, 47, of Spring Valley, was struck and killed by a vehicle while he walking on the Palisades Parkway, state police said. Orange County resident Alexis Lewis, 20, of Chester, was killed along with her boyfriend, Holmes B. Shindon, 21, of Montgomery, during a single-vehicle crash on Saturday, Nov. 16, on Route 208 in the town of Hamptonburgh.
