Fiery Crash: Man Killed, Woman Hospitalized In Critical Condition After Area Wreck A man is dead following a fiery, two-vehicle crash in the region that also left a woman hospitalized. The Columbia County wreck happened at around 5:45 p.m. Monday, Nov. 13, in the town of Greenport on State Route 23. Troopers and firefighters from the Greenport Fire Department responded to the intersection of Ponderosa Drive where they found two vehicles fully engulfed in flames, according to New York State Police. Bloomingburg Man Killed In Orange County Crash, Police Say A man from the region was killed in a Hudson Valley crash when his vehicle was hit by a 2006 International truck that crossed the center line for an unknown reason, police said.
