Road Rage Shooting: Driver Opens Fire On NY Freeway, Causing Both Cars To Crash, Police Say A road rage shooting that sparked a two-vehicle crash on a highway in the region ended with a 32-year-old man in handcuffs. The Albany County incident happened at around 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, July 4, on I-90 in Albany, according to New York State Police. Troopers said Jordan McCullen, of East Nassau in Rensselaer County, was driving his Toyota Camry on the freeway when he got into a road rage altercation with another driver in a Lexus sedan. Man Charged With Having Assault Rifle, Ammo In Hudson Valley A Hudson Valley man was charged with having an assault rifle without serial numbers during a traffic stop by state police. Orange County resident, Joshua Ayuk, age 30, of the city of Port Jervis, was arrested on Friday, May 19, during a traffic stop by New York State Police in the village of Saugerties. According to Trooper Steven Nevel, Ayuk was driving a Toyota Camry when he was stopped for a violation of state traffic laws. Drunk Driver Slams Into Guardrail On Highway In Region: Police A man is facing charges after driving drunk and hitting a guardrail on a busy highway exit ramp in Westchester County, police said.  On Saturday, Jan. 28, around 12:20 a.m., police responded to a one-car crash in White Plains by Interstate 287 west on the Exit 6 ramp, according to state police.  After arriving at the scene, police determined that the driver, 46-year-old Tarrytown resident Eric Petrich, had been driving on the ramp in a Toyota Camry when he struck a guardrail and his car became disabled.  Petrich was not injured in the crash. Drunk Driver Crashes In Construction Zone In Hudson Valley, Police Say A Fairfield County man was arrested for alleged DWI after crashing into the back of a construction vehicle in a work zone in Westchester.  Fabian Madera, age 43, of Shelton, was arrested around 10:20 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, after New York State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash on I-95 in Mamaroneck, said Trooper Tara McCormick. Steven Dean Kraft is described as being 5-foot-9 and weighing between 200 and 215 pounds.
