Monticello, Swan Lake Parents Charged For Allegedly Not Paying Thousands In Child Support Sheriff's deputies in the region charged three people for allegedly failing to pay their child support. The Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office has arrested the following individuals on Family Court warrants for child support violations: Melissa A. Lynch, age 36, of Swan Lake, was charged on Thursday, Feb. 15 for not paying $2,500 in child support. Man Jumps Out Of Window After 3-Alarm Fire Destroys Home In Monticello A three-alarm fire destroyed a Hudson Valley home and kept firefighters on the scene for more than seven hours. The fire took place in Sullivan County around 8 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 27 at 132 Haddock Road in Monticello. While en route Sullivan Fire was told that a man that had reportedly jumped from a second-floor window had suffered multiple burns. Man, Woman Charged For Double Homicide At Home In Sullivan County An Orange County man and woman have been arrested for the double murder of two men. Chasity Cutway, 37, and David Host, 32, both of Walden, were arrested on Thursday, Jan. 14, by New York State Police, said Trooper Steven Nevel. Both were charged with first-degree murder and burglary connected to the deaths of Glenn Travis and Derek Travis at their Sullivan County home on Murphy Road in Swan Lake, Nevel said.
