Man Found Dead In Barryville After Disappearing In Delaware River A Hudson Valley man was found dead after disappearing from his campsite at the edge of the Delaware River. The incident took place in Sullivan County on Saturday, May 13, at the Ascalona Campground in Barryville.  Deputies responded to the campground on a report of a missing person, said Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty. 35-Year-Old From Sullivan County Who Went Missing In Woods Found Dead A 35-year-old who went missing more than a week ago after last being seen getting a flat tire in the region has been found dead.  Harold Hoyt was reported missing by a friend on Friday, March 31 after his truck had a flat tire, got stuck, and then ran out of gas in Sullivan County near the Camp Turrell Boy Scout Reservation on Galligan Road in the town of Forestburgh.
