The incident happened on Saturday, Jan. 27 just before 1 p.m., when a box truck crashed into the Bedford Road overpass on the northbound Saw Mill River Parkway near Exit 28 in Pleasantville, according to Westchester County Police Public Information Officer Kieran O'Leary. A driver attempting to flee from police in Westchester came to a screeching halt when he crashed into a building while evading officers, police said. Police have identified the woman killed in a single-vehicle crash in Westchester County over the weekend. Sonia Philpotts, age 54, from the Bronx, was the passenger who died in the crash that happened in Yonkers at about 11:50 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, according to Westchester County Police.
