Albany County resident Kristy Koldis, age 46, of Latham, pleaded guilty to sexual exploitation of a child in Albany federal court on Monday, June 3. School Counselor, Youth Coach In Region Took 'Compromising' Photos Of Child, Police Say A middle school guidance counselor is among two people from the region who are accused of secretly taking inappropriate photos of a child. Albany County residents Kristy Koldis, age 45, and Joshua White, age 46, both of Latham, were arrested Friday, July 28, after troopers were tipped off that inappropriate pictures of a child were being shared online. Investigators determined that the pair had taken photos of a child without their knowledge while the victim was in “compromising positions,” according to New York State Police. Saugerties HS Grad Named District's New Superintendent A new school superintendent has been named to take over a Hudson Vally school district after the former leader resigned. Dr. Daniel Erceg was unanimously approved to take the helm of the Saugerties Central School District in Ulster County at a special Board of Education meeting held on Tuesday, June 27.  A Saugerties resident, Erceg graduated from Saugerties High School in 2002, officials said.
