Man From Region Wanted On Out-Of-State Warrant Nabbed For DWI, Police Say A Hudson Valley man wanted on an out-of-state warrant for driving while intoxicated was allegedly nabbed for the same offense during a traffic stop. Dutchess County resident John P. Ballou, age 59, of Dover Plains, was charged around 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17. According to Capt. John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office, Ballou was stopped on Route 22 in Dover. 2 Busted For Drugs In Region After Troopers Stop 'Suspicious' Car, Police Say A traffic stop of a "suspicious" vehicle led to the arrest of a Hudson Valley man and woman for alleged drug possession and driving under the influence of drugs. Dutchess County residents Robert W. Beebe, age 47, and Shannan Mead, age 33, both of Dover, were charged on Saturday, Oct. 14. According to Trooper AJ Hicks of the New York State Police, the two were in a 2006 Volkswagon Jetta matching the description of a reported "suspicious" vehicle.
