Malachi Fennicks, of Schenectady, was arrested Friday, Nov. 17, following an investigation by New York State Police. Troopers began investigating Fennicks after receiving a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Investigators found him in possession of multiple images consistent with child sexual exploitation, police said. Fennicks is charged with promoting a sexual performance by a child and possessing a sexual performance by a child, both felonies. …

The theft occurred early Monday, July 31, in Schenectady County at a business in Princetown, according to New York State Police. Troopers were told that someone made off with a utility truck and a construction trailer. The vehicles were later found roughly five miles away, in the town of Rotterdam. The Schenectady County incident happened at around 9:15 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 17, in the town of Duanesburg. Elizabeth Taylor, age 43, of Duanesburg, was driving on Mariaville Scotch Church Road when she went off the roadway and crashed, according to New York State Police. Rensselaer County resident Robert Thomas, age 35, of the town of Stephentown, was arrested Monday, May 22, on charges of grand larceny and forgery. According to State Police, a Schenectady County homeowner initially contacted troopers in July 2022 claiming to be the victim of a construction scam.
