Andrew Cuomo continues to wane as the majority of New Yorkers are encouraging him not to run for re-election next year, according to a new Siena College poll. A poll conducted among 809 New Yorkers between Tuesday, June 22, and Tuesday, June 29 found that just one-third believe that Cuomo should finish out his term and run for re-election in 2022. A newly released Quinnipiac University poll found that approximately half of 1,323 voters polled nationally between Thursday, May 14, and Monday, May 18 felt that way. The poll found that 50 percent of voters said they do not think it will be safe to send students of any age back to school in September, against 43 percent who believe it will be safe.
