Child Sex: Man From Region Charged With Assault Of 10-Year-Old Girl, DA Says
A Hudson Valley man is behind bars after allegedly sexually assaulting a 10-year-old girl. Orange County resident Dylan M. Benner, age 21, of Middletown, was charged with predatory sexual assault against a child on Thursday, Aug. 3, said District Attorney David M. Hoovler and City of Port Jervis Police Chief William Worden. Benner was arraigned and remanded to the Orange County Jail without bail. New details have emerged after a 19-year-old was charged with repeatedly raping a minor in both the Hudson Valley and at the Jersey Shore, authorities said. Man Sentenced In Child Sex Crime Case In Area
A New York man has been sentenced to 15 years in prison and 10 years post-release supervision in connection with having committed repeated sexual contact with a child. Chautauqua County resident Kenneth Washington, age 49, of Jamestown, was sentenced on Thursday, Jan. 13, said Orange County District Attorney David Hoovler.
