Trio Nabbed For Stealing Vehicles In Key Fob Swap Scam In Region, Police Say Three men were busted for allegedly using a key fob swap scam in which they asked to look at a vehicle at a car dealership and then gave back a fob from another vehicle so they could steal the auto at night.  The suspects were caught in Rockland County on Monday, March 4 in Nanuet. According to Det. Norm Peters with the Clarksdown Police, on Monday, officers responded to Rockland Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram dealership on Route 304 in Nanuet, regarding a key fob swap incident. Nearly 200 Nabbed By Nysp Troopers For Impaired Driving During Thanksgiving Weekend, The final tally is in, and New York State Police troopers dished out more than 12,000 tickets and arrested nearly 150 motorists for alleged impaired driving, authorities announced. Between Wednesday, Nov. 24, and Sunday, Nov. 28, New York State Police issued 12,975 tickets during their annual Thanksgiving holiday traffic enforcement period, down slightly from the previous year’s campaign.
