4 Residents, 2 Dogs Displaced After House Fire Breaks Out In Region Two adults, two children, and a pair of dogs have been displaced after an overnight house fire broke out in the Hudson Valley. The blaze broke out in Rockland County at around 1:50 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 24 in Bardonia. The fire began around 2:40 a.m., Sunday, April 11 at 28 Van Nostrand Place in Nanuet, said the Nanuet Fire Department. First arriving fire units found heavy fire and sounded a second alarm which brought additional firefighters from area departments. 26-Year-Old Killed In Single-Vehicle Hudson Valley Crash A 26-year-old man was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the Hudson Valley. The crash happened just after 8:45 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, in Rockland County on the Palisades Interstate Parkway in the town of Orangetown. An investigation revealed that a 2010 Hyundai Elantra, being operated Anthonelli Ramos, of New York City, was traveling north on the PIP and was exiting at exit 9E at the time of the crash, police said. Body Found Inside Home Destroyed By Fire, Police Say One person was found dead inside a home that was engulfed in flames when police arrived. The fire in Rockland County was discovered around 1:06 a.m., Wednesday, May 6, when Ramapo Police responded to a report of a structure fire at North Pascack Road and Ewing Avenue in Hillcrest. When officers arrived, they found the house fully engulfed in flames, said Ramapo Police. First responders in Rockland County were dispatched to a single-family home on Holt Drive in Pearl River shortly after 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 18, Orangetown Police said.
