3 Shot, Including 15-Month-Old In Monticello An intensive investigation is underway after three people, including a 15-month-old boy, were shot in at a home in the region. The incident took place in Sullivan County in Monticello around 10 p.m. on Friday, May 5 at a home located at 15 Holmes St. According to Lt. Mark Johnstone, of the Monticello Police Department, officers responded to the home after receiving a 911 report of shots fired. When officers arrived they found three people who had sustained gunshot wounds including a 27-year-old man, a 20-year-old woman, and a 15-month-old. Police Investigating After Man Shot Twice In Monticello Police in the Hudson Valley are investigating after a man was found shot twice inside an apartment. The incident took place in Sullivan County in the village of Monticello around 11:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 2 at the Sleepy Hollow Apartment Complex. The fire took place in Sullivan County around 8 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 27 at 132 Haddock Road in Monticello. While en route Sullivan Fire was told that a man that had reportedly jumped from a second-floor window had suffered multiple burns. One Killed In Shooting Outside Monticello Sports Bar, Police Say One person was killed during a shooting outside a popular area sports bar. The incident took place around 2 a.m, Saturday, Aug. 7, in Sullivan County outside of Nelly's Sports Bar located at 456 Broadway in Monticello. According to Johnstone, when police arrived on the scene in response to a shots fire call they found an unresponsive 29-year-old man lying on the sidewalk outside of the bar,  Lt. Worker Rescued After Tool Pierces Hand At Sullivan County Business Firefighters spent more than an hour rescuing a worker who had a large metal auger through his hand and stuck inside a pipe at a Sullivan County business. The incident took place around 9:19 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 18, at Ideal Foods, located 89 Mill St., in Liberty, said Liberty Assistant Fire Chief Mark Johnstone. According to Johnstone, the worker, who was standing on a ladder, was working on a machine in the basement of the business when the auger, which was attacked to about 100-feet pipe pierced his hand and pulled his hand into the pipe.
