Duo Nabbed In Drug Den Full Of People In Monticello, Sheriff Says Two people were arrested after sheriff's deputies served a warrant at an apartment in the region known as a frequent drug den. The incident took place in Sullivan County around 3 a.m., Friday, June 9 at 18 Roosevelt Place, Apartment 16 in Monticello. "The residence is well known in the neighborhood as a drug-prone location where the injection and smoking of illicit substances take place," said Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty. The incident took place in Sullivan County in Monticello around 10 p.m. on Friday, May 5 at a home located at 15 Holmes St. According to Lt. Mark Johnstone, of the Monticello Police Department, officers responded to the home after receiving a 911 report of shots fired. One Killed In Shooting Outside Monticello Sports Bar, Police Say One person was killed during a shooting outside a popular area sports bar. The incident took place around 2 a.m, Saturday, Aug. 7, in Sullivan County outside of Nelly's Sports Bar located at 456 Broadway in Monticello. According to Johnstone, when police arrived on the scene in response to a shots fire call they found an unresponsive 29-year-old man lying on the sidewalk outside of the bar,  Lt.
