The incident happened just before 9:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24 in New Rochelle. Man Apprehended After Driving Stolen Vehicle In Hudson Valley, Police Say
A 51-year-old man was charged after police said he drove a stolen vehicle in Westchester County. Authorities received a report of a stolen vehicle entering New Rochelle from I-95 at about 8:40 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 20, the New Rochelle Police Department said. Officers found the vehicle parked and unoccupied in front of 572 Main St., and police verified it was stolen, according to the report. Police are investigating a fatal two-vehicle crash at a Westchester intersection. It happened around 6:30 p.m. Sunday, July 17 in New Rochelle at the intersection of Main Street and Echo Avenue, and involved a vehicle and a motorcycle. A 52-year-old suspect has been indicted and returned to New York on murder charges for allegedly robbing and fatally shooting a man in Westchester, the District Attorney’s Office announced. Virginia resident Percell Ross Blakely, of Covington, Virginia, is in custody after allegedly stealing property and shooting 62-year-old Andres Valenzuela on Main Street in New Rochelle last year. Man Wanted For Fatal Shooting In Hudson Valley Apprehended After Shootout
A manhunt into the fatal shooting of a cab driver in Westchester led to the arrest of a wanted fugitive who was wanted in Connecticut after a shootout with police, authorities announced. A 27-year-old man was apprehended after allegedly squirting a white liquid meant to mimic semen on multiple women in Westchester, police said. A man was carjacked and had his necklace stolen in the driveway of his Westchester County home.
