Saugerties Man Kicked Pregnant Woman's Stomach, Poured Grease On Her: Cops A man from the region is accused of physically assaulting a pregnant woman during a domestic dispute. Ulster County resident Enrique Plaza, age 29, of Saugerties was arrested on multiple charges stemming from the altercation at a home on Livingston Street, Saugerties Police said. Officers were called to the residence shortly after 9 a.m. Sunday, May 29, with reports of a physical domestic dispute. Ulster Man Menaces Two With Hammer During Fight Over Rent, Police Say A man has been arrested for allegedly threatening two people with a hammer during a fight over rent money. Ulster County resident Adan A. Aguilar-Martinez, of the Village of Saugerties, was arrested on Tuesday, April 21, after Saugerties Police responded to a report of a fight in progress on Livingston Street, according to police. When officers arrived on the scene, they interviewed Aguilar-Martinez and the two reported victims, Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra said.
