Missing Hiker In Region Suffers Serious Injuries A missing Hudson Valley hiker was found with serious injuries following a police search that included numerous police officers and K9 units. The incident occurred in Orange County around 11:40 a.m., Thursday, March 28 in New Windsor in the area of San Giacomo Park at 402 Union Ave. According to Chief Daniel Valeri of the New Windsor Police, officers responded to the park for a report of a missing hiker. Police Officer Hit, Seriously Injured In Hit-Run Crash In Region A police officer was seriously injured at the site of a crash when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in the Hudson Valley. The Orange County crash took place in New Windsor on Litte Britain Road around 8 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 27.
