School Bus Driver From Kerhonkson Accused Of Slamming Brakes, Injuring Kids In Lake Katrine A Hudson Valley school bus driver has been charged with allegedly endangering the welfare of children after he intentionally slammed the brakes sending students flying. The incident took place in Ulster County around 8 a.m. Thursday, April 13, in the town of Ulster. Covid-19: Ulster Builds Field Hospital Amid Bed Space Crunch As the number of novel coronavirus (COVID-19) cases continues to increase in Ulster, the county has built a field hospital at an area high school, and another is planned if needed. Ulster County Executive Pat Ryan announced on Tuesday, April 7, that the first field hospital that will hold at least 100 hospital beds will open at the Kate Walton Fieldhouse at the Kingston High School campus.
