Update: Human Remains Found In Region Are Of Young Woman Authorities have confirmed that human remains unearthed on a Hudson Valley construction site are of a young woman who may have been dead for over a decade.  The remains were found in Putnam County on Tuesday, April 16, during excavation work at the property of a new home built in Patterson in the area of Ice Pond Road, according to New York State Police. Man's Body Found At Shopping Plaza In Region Authorities are investigating after a man's body was found at a shopping plaza in Northern Westchester.  The body was found on Tuesday, Aug. 29 just before 10 a.m., when authorities responded to the Crossroads Plaza located at 1101 Main St. (Route 6) in Peekskill, according to Peekskill Police Lt. Adam Renwick.  There, police found a deceased man on the property of the plaza, who has not yet been identified, Renwick said.
