Schenectady County residents Amber Geier and her boyfriend Rickey Loika were arrested Thursday, April 18, in the death of Geier’s 24-year-old daughter Skylar Pettit. The young woman, who had Down syndrome and diabetes, was found dead inside her Rotterdam residence on July 31, 2023 following a welfare check requested by her school. Severed Remains Case: ID Released For Male Victim From Region For the first time, police have publicly named the second of two murder victims whose dismembered remains were found strewn across Long Island. In an update to the case on Friday, March 22, Suffolk County Police identified the male victim as 53-year-old former Westchester County resident Malcolm Brown, whose last known address is in Yonkers. Long Island resident Borndivine Intelligence Jackson, age 26, of Bellport, was formally indicted on weapons charges Friday, Oct. 28, in Suffolk County Court. Prosecutors said Jackson ran from Suffolk County Police officers in June 2022 during a search for a suspect in an unrelated shooting investigation in Shirley.
