The incident took place in Sullivan County on Saturday, May 13, at the Ascalona Campground in Barryville.  Deputies responded to the campground on a report of a missing person, said Sullivan County Undersheriff Eric Chaboty. Police Searching For Man Who Jumped From Mid-Hudson Bridge In Lloyd Police in the area are searching for a man who jumped off a bridge in the Hudson Valley The incident took place at around 11 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 13 at the span of the Mid-Hudson Bridge in Ulster County. That's when officers responded to a 911 call of a man jumping off the bridge, said Chief James Janso of the Town of Lloyd Police. "An extensive search from multiple agencies was conducted and at this time the victim has not been located," Janso said. Highland Woman Killed By Own Vehicle In Driveway Of Home A woman was killed after she was run over by her own vehicle in a freak accident in the area. The incident took place around 4:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 12, when in Ulster County on Sterling Place in Highland. According to Town of Lloyd Police Chief James Janso, the 84-year-old Highland woman had pulled into the driveway of her residence and exited her car when it began to roll back in the driveway.  The woman attempted to stop the vehicle and was struck by the car.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.  The accident is still under investigation.  L…

The incident took place around noon on Wednesday, Aug. 4 Ulster County in the Town of Lloyd. Police received a 911 call for the capsized kayaker on Chodikee Lake near the boat launch, said Lloyd PD Chief James Janso. Two Buildings Destroyed During Early Morning Blaze In Area Two buildings were destroyed during an early morning fire in the area. The fire started around 3:29 a.m., Monday, March 2, in Dutchess County at 318 Mill St. and 316 Mill St., in the City of Poughkeepsie, said Fire Chief Mark Johnson. First arriving crews found two floors on fire in the multi-story building with the flames moving upward, the chief said.
