Teen Duo Charged With Attempted Murder Following Shooting In Region
Two underage teens are facing attempted murder charges following a shooting in the region. The Rensselaer County incident happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, in Troy, near 3rd and Jefferson streets. Troy Police said someone called 911 saying they had heard multiple gunshots in the area. When officers arrived, they interviewed an individual who they believe to have been the intended target of the shooting. The victim was not struck and there were no reports of injuries. Police are investigating after a 16-year-old teen walked into a Hudson Valley hospital with a gunshot wound to the face. The incident took place in the City of Poughkeepsie, around 10:30 p.m., Saturday, May 14, at 72 Market St. Officers responded to the area after receiving multiple 911 calls reporting a large disturbance in the area of 72 Market Street, said Det. Police: Passenger In Vehicle Menaces Victim With Handgun In Hudson Valley
A suspect is at large after allegedly threatening a man with a handgun in Northern Westchester, police said. The North Castle Police Department received a report at 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, May 15 from a man who said he had been “menaced” with a dark-colored handgun by a Black man who was a passenger in a vehicle on Reservoir Road in North White Plains. Alert Issued For Wanted Hudson Valley Man
An alert was issued by New York State Police investigators in the Hudson Valley for a wanted man who was busted with a stolen trailer and handgun in Orange County. Jemel Brown, age 40, is wanted by New York State Police Troop F following his arrest for fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property dating back to a traffic stop in Monroe. Brown was stopped in Monroe last year when he was reportedly spotted in possession of a stolen trailer plate reported out of New York City. Man Accused Of Falsely Reporting An Incident Involving Handgun In Area, Police Say
A 21-year-old man was arrested after allegedly falsely reporting an incident involving a handgun in Dutchess County. Kyle Ropeter, of Wilton, New York, was arrested on Friday, Jan. 8, after New York State Police responded to the town of Stanford for a report of a person with a handgun, said Trooper AJ Hicks. When troopers responded an investigation found that Ropeter had falsely reported the incident, Hicks said. He was charged with falsely reporting an incident and released on an appearance ticket.

Police Trying To ID Man Involved In Area Road-Rage Incident
State troopers are looking for a man who allegedly punctuated an instance of road rage by brandishing a handgun. The yet-unidentified man threatened another driver in Dutchess County in the Town of LaGrange with a handgun at the intersection of Noxon and Titusville Roads on Saturday, Sept. 19 at approximately 12: 30 a.m. The suspect is believed to be a white-haired caucasian male between 40 and 50 years old, and was driving a black Honda Accord or Civic.
