Beloved Hudson Valley Teacher Dies At Age 56 A longtime, beloved Westchester special education teacher has died at the age of 56. Christine Amanna (Antonecchia) age 56, of Somers, formerly of Hawthorne, died Tuesday, June 29 at Northern Westchester Hospital. Amanna was born in 1964 to Guido and Barbara Antonecchia. She was the eldest of three children predeceased by her sister Lisa and her father.  She was raised in Yonkers, graduated from the University of Hartford where she received a bachelor of science and a dual master of science of education and Special Education from Manhattan College. Hudson Valley College Student, 18, Remembered For His Engaging Personality A Syracuse University first-year student from Westchester who died suddenly earlier this week is being remembered for his high energy and engaging personality. John “Jack” Howard Lundin of the Crestwood section of Yonkers, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, Oct. 14. He was 18. He was born on June 20, 2002, in White Plains. Police Officer In Hudson Valley Dies Suddenly At Age 25 A police officer who grew up and worked in Northern Westchester has died suddenly. Nicholas D. Hansen 25, of Pleasantville, died on Thursday, Oct. 1 at his residence. He was an officer with the Town of Bedford Police Department. He was born on June 15, 1995, to Dean and Vikki (nee Palmieri) Hansen in White Plains.
