Student Threatened To 'Shoot Up' High School In Region, Police Say A juvenile is facing charges after allegedly threatening to carry out a mass shooting at a high school in the region. The Schenectady City School District contacted police shortly before 7 a.m. on Wednesday, May 3, to report that a threat had been made against the high school. According to Schenectady Police, district officials were alerted by the software Gaggle, which monitors students’ school-issued devices for harmful content, about a threatening email it had uncovered.
