Food Delivery Drivers Among Victims In Reported Uptick In Area Vehicle Thefts
Police are warning of an uptick in vehicle thefts in the region, including several belonging to food delivery drivers. The Albany Police Department has received numerous reports of stolen cars, many of which were left running unattended, the agency said on Facebook Monday, Aug. 7. Man Sentenced For Firing AK-47 At Food Delivery Driver In Region
A Westchester County man has been sentenced to five years in prison for firing an AK-47 at a food delivery driver last year. MrBeast Burger was created by Jimmy Donaldson, who has more than 94 million subscribers on his MrBeast YouTube channel, in partnership with Virtual Dining Concepts. Restaurant chain Friendly's has launched its first fast-casual cafe. The company announced that it has opened its first "Friendly's Cafe" in Hampden County, Massachusetts. The eatery is located at 291 East Main St. in Westfield. It opened on Saturday, Feb. 26, representatives said. The 2,700 square-foot location seats 45 guests. Westchester-based Nestlé has pledged nearly a billion dollars to expand its packaged food delivery options for customers. Nestlé announced that it has closed a deal to acquire Freshly, a meal delivery service that operates across the country, for $950 million, and could pay an additional $550 million if Freshly hits certain growth targets and benchmarks. Cadets in West Point, New York will be among the first in the country to be able to test Chipotle Mexican Grill's new first-ever digital-only restaurant called the Chipotle Digital Kitchen.
