Police have identified a man killed after a small plane crash on Long Island. The crash happened around 12:35 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 6 in East Hampton off Springy Banks Road, on the water's edge of Three Mile Harbor. Helicopter Inspecting Power Lines Crashes In Sullivan County, FAA Says
Two people were injured during a helicopter crash in the Hudson Valley, according to the FAA. The crash took place around 8:56 a.m., Friday, June 18, while the pilot of the McDonnell Douglas 500 helicopter was inspecting power lines near Swan Lake in Sullivan County, the FAA said. Two people were aboard, both were injured and were flown to Westchester Medical Center for treatment. New York State Police and the FAA have secured the site. Gilder Pilot Dies Following Crash At Wurtsboro Airport, Police Say
A 64-year-old man was killed when his glider crashed at an airport in the Hudson Valley. Khanh H. Nguyen, of Tenafly, New Jersey, was killed around 2:25 p.m., Sunday, June 6, at the Wurtsboro Airport in Sullivan County, said New York State Police Trooper Steven Nevel. One Killed, One Seriously Injured In Sullivan County Plane Crash
One man was killed and another seriously injured in a single-engine plane crash in the area. It happened on Friday, June 5 at approximately 7:10 p.m. at the Wurtsboro–Sullivan County Airport in the town of Mamakating. The two occupants of the single-engine challenger plane were both licensed pilots, State Police said. Eddy R. Santana, 41, of Wurtsboro was found dead at the scene, according to police.
