Man Jumps Out Of Window After 3-Alarm Fire Destroys Home In Monticello
A three-alarm fire destroyed a Hudson Valley home and kept firefighters on the scene for more than seven hours. The fire took place in Sullivan County around 8 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 27 at 132 Haddock Road in Monticello. While en route Sullivan Fire was told that a man that had reportedly jumped from a second-floor window had suffered multiple burns. Three fire trucks responded within a minute and arrived at the fire within four minutes, to find a working fire, said the Monticello Fire Department. ID Released For 10-Year-Old Killed In Hudson Valley Crash
Police have identified a 10-year-old boy who was killed in a two-vehicle crash. in the area. Rockland County resident Michael Bosco, of Pomona, was killed around 6:15 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 12, in the crash in Nanuet, at the intersection of Route 304 and West Nyack Road, in Nanuet. Arriving officers discovered two vehicles heavily damaged, a Toyota Sienna and a Ford F-150 both with airbag deployment, according to Detective Norm Peters of the Clarkstown Police Department. EMS Volunteer Dies At Ambulance Headquarters In Area
This story has been updated with corrected information. An EMS volunteer unexpectedly died at his ambulance headquarters in Rockland County, authorities announced. Stony Point EMS volunteer Joey Zask died on Saturday, Sept. 25 at the Stony Point Ambulance Headquarters from causes that have not been disclosed by officials. Zask worked for Rockland Mobile Care as a dispatcher and was also a volunteer in Orange County, in Cornwall, according to a GoFundMe page set up for his family. Three new arrest warrants were issued for Fotis Dulos, the estranged husband of Fairfield County missing mother of five Jennifer Farber Dulos, at an emergency bond hearing, as his attorneys described his condition as "dire." “His medical condition is dire,” Norm Pattis, Dulos' attorney told Judge Gary White on Wednesday, Jan. 29 during the hearing in Stamford.
