Facebook Marketplace Sting Nabs Barryville Deadbeat Dad, Police Say
A man from the region was nabbed for allegedly not paying more than $8,700 in child support when he posted items for sale on Facebook Marketplace. Sullivan County resident Marcus Molnar, age 46, of Barryville, was arrested on Saturday, Feb. 24, for failure to pay child support. Undersheriff Eric Chaboty of the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office said Molnar is alleged to owe over $8700 in child support payments and has been hiding out in Wayne County, Pennsylvania since September of 2023.
