Hit-Run Biker Who Left UAlbany 18-Year-Old In Coma Nabbed Nearly Month Later, Police Say Nearly a month after a University at Albany student from Long Island was severely injured in a hit-and-run dirt bike crash, a suspect is behind bars. Albany Police arrested Austin Breyette, age 25, of Watervliet, early Thursday morning, May 23, in connection with the collision that left 18-year-old UAlbany freshman Alexa Kropf in a medically induced coma. One Critically Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash In Region A woman was seriously injured after being hit by a BMW SUV while riding a dirt bike in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Rockland County around 10 p.m., Tuesday, July 12 in Nanuet in the area of N. Pascack Road and Clark Drive. The crash occurred when a 27-year-old New City woman was struck by the BMW while driving a dirt bike, said Det. Norm Peters of the Clarkstown Police. Teen Arrested After Riding Dirt Bike, Taking Police On Chase In Area A Rockland County teenager was arrested after taking officers on a short chase when he was busted for driving a dirt bike without a helmet on. Officers from the Ramapo Police Department on patrol on Route 202 on Wednesday, Dec. 16 spotted an unregistered dirt bike being driven by a minor who was not wearing a helmet.
