Covid-19: New York Expecting Increase In Vaccine Supply, Cuomo Says Relief may be on the way as New York seeks to continue ramping up its COVID-19 vaccination program. New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced on Tuesday, Feb. 9 that the state is expecting a 5 percent increase in its supply of the COVID-19 vaccine for at least the next three weeks as the federal government continues increasing production of the vaccination. The company announced that its teams will begin administering the first dose of COVID-19 vaccines produced by Pfizer across 40,000 facilities in 12 states as soon as this week.
