Ford Issues Recall For Vehicles Due To Explosive Airbags Ford has lost track of some potentially dangerous airbags that can explode, hurling deadly shrapnel at drivers, prompting a recall approximately150,000 vehicles. The auto manufacturer announced this week that the company lost track of nearly four dozen airbags that may have been installed in older Ranger pickup trucks and could be a potential hazard for motorists. According to Ford, the airbags were not taken out of the stock of service parts and could have been used in crash or theft repairs.
