Sullivan County Man Involved In Fight At McDonald's Hits Cop With Car While Fleeing, Police Say A police officer was struck by a car and a New York man armed with a gun was apprehended following a fight inside a McDonald's in Connecticut. The incident took place in Fairfield County around 2:40 p.m., Friday, May 5 at the McDonald's in Stamford on Bedford Street. According to Capt. Chris Baker of the Stamford Police, two officers were working an extra duty job directing traffic when a McDonald's employee called to them for help with a fight inside the restaurant.
