Teen Duo Charged With Attempted Murder Following Shooting In Region Two underage teens are facing attempted murder charges following a shooting in the region. The Rensselaer County incident happened shortly before 10:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, in Troy, near 3rd and Jefferson streets. Troy Police said someone called 911 saying they had heard multiple gunshots in the area. When officers arrived, they interviewed an individual who they believe to have been the intended target of the shooting. The victim was not struck and there were no reports of injuries. Woman Admits Stabbing Passenger Aboard Transit Bus In Region A 31-year-old woman is facing years in prison after admitting that she stabbed a passenger aboard a transit bus in the region. Keionna Hood, of Schenectady, pleaded guilty in connection with the attack in Albany County Court on Tuesday, Aug. 29. According to the district attorney’s office, Hood was aboard a CDTA bus in Colonie on May 1, 2023 when the bus stopped at a gas station on Central Avenue.
