ID Released For Boy Who Died After Falling Through Ice In Dutchess County Authorities have released the identity of a 17-year-old boy who died after falling through the ice at a state park. Dutchess County resident Noah Thompson, of Amenia, was found about 2:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, after police responded to the Taconic State Park on Shagroy Road in the Town of North East for a report of someone who had fallen through the ice. Thompson and another teen had walked 20 to 30 feet out onto the ice when it broke, sending both into the water, according to Capt. John Watterson, of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Elizabeth Taveras, age 29, and Sade Rosario, age 29, both of New York City, were arrested by the Dutchess County's Sheriff's Office on Friday, Jan. 28, in connection with the scam of an area resident. Woman Falls Or Jumps From 50-Foot Cliff In Area, Authorities Say A 21-year-old woman who fell or jumped off a Hudson Valley cliff and fell more than 50 feet survived with serious injuries. The incident took place in Dutchess County around 6 p.m., Tuesday, May 18 in Pawling at the Cat Rocks Cliffs, said Captain John Watterson of the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office. Man Charged With Sexual Offense In Area A 40-year-old man has been arrested allegedly for having inappropriate sexual contact with a victim in the area. Tyson M.
