State Police Make Determination In Death Of 2-Month-Old From Region More than a month after finding a 2-month-old unresponsive, New York State Police have released its determination in the case. The child was found in Orange County around 4:45 a.m., Friday, Jan. 19 at a home on Fawn Hill in Sparrow Bush, a hamlet of Deer Park. According to Trooper Steven Nevel of the New York State Police, the baby was transported to Bon Secours Community Hospital in Port Jervis where it was pronounced dead. Nevel said an investigation by the state police determined that no criminality was involved in the death of the child.
