Sullivan County Man Involved In Fight At McDonald's Hits Cop With Car While Fleeing, Police Say A police officer was struck by a car and a New York man armed with a gun was apprehended following a fight inside a McDonald's in Connecticut. The incident took place in Fairfield County around 2:40 p.m., Friday, May 5 at the McDonald's in Stamford on Bedford Street. According to Capt. Chris Baker of the Stamford Police, two officers were working an extra duty job directing traffic when a McDonald's employee called to them for help with a fight inside the restaurant. Man, Woman Injured After Being Hit By Car In Crash Involving 22-Year-Old From Region Two people were injured after being struck by a vehicle at a busy Fairfield County intersection in a crash involving a Hudson Valley man. The incident took place in Stamford around 11:20 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 14 at the intersection of Bedford Street and Broad Street. According to Sgt. Jeffrey Booth, of the Stamford Police, responding officers found two pedestrians, a man, and a woman lying on the ground injured.
