The incident took place in Sullivan County around 8 a.m. on Saturday, July 29 in the village of Liberty. According to Liberty Police Chief, Steven D'Agata, officers followed the parking to an underground box running along Edgar Street. Schenectady Police were called Tuesday, Aug. 9, and found the animal severely injured and unable to stand on her own. Animal Control officers removed the dog and brought her to the emergency vet, where she received critical, lifesaving treatment, police said.
