16-Year-Old Killed In Double-Fatal Shandaken Crash Remembered As 'Incredibly Thoughtful' A 16-year-old boy from the region who was killed in a horrific four-vehicle crash with a tractor-trailer is being remembered as being "fiercely loyal" to his family and "incredibly thoughtful.' Hospital Anesthesiologist In Region Drugs, Sexually Assaults Victim: Police An anesthesiologist faces charges after allegedly giving anesthesia to a victim without her knowledge and sexually assaulting her, police announced. Putnam County resident Paul Giacopelli of Southeast, age 59, was interviewed and arrested on Saturday, Dec. 30 on sexual abuse charges, the Putnam County Sheriff's Office announced on Wednesday, Jan. 3.
