2 Million Air Fryers Recalled After Reports Of Fire, Burning, Melting, Overheating, Smoking
More than two million air fryers sold at major retailers across the country and online are being recalled because they can become too hot to handle and pose potential hazards. The US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced that Cosori air fryers are being recalled by Anaheim-based Atekcity due to fire and burn hazards that have led to more than 200 complaints. According to officials, a wire connection in the air fryer can overheat, creating a possibly dangerous situation for consumers. A review of mail-forwarding requests is revealing where New York City residents moved to after the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak began. The United States Post Office received double the monthly average of mail-forwarding requests from New York City in March with 56,000, with that number increasing to 81,000 in April, according to The New York Times. Missing Former Hudson Valley HS Soccer Standout, 29, Found Dead
The body of a former varsity soccer standout in Northern Westchester who went missing in California was discovered inside an abandoned U-Haul, according to authorities. Ashley Manning, a 2008 graduate of Somers High School, was 29 years old. The cause of death will be determined by toxicology results, Anaheim Police said.
